Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- Current Pharmacy Technician License and National Certification (CPhT).
- Willingness to obtain multiple state licensure in Symbria operational states.
- Minimum one year of experience in retail pharmacy or customer service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong knowledge of Brand and Generic drugs and medical terminology.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and alternate shifts as needed.
- Ability to identify and meet specific customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Maintain direct contact with patients and their families to verify insurance/payment information and perform Medicare Part D evaluations.
- Provide internal marketing within existing communities to increase the client base.
- Assist with enrollment and ordering for programs such as Medicare B and cash-discount cards.
- Support communities with services like flu clinics, family nights, and survey visit preparations.
- Process new and refill prescriptions and package cycle medications.
- Contact physician offices for refill authorizations and clients for order verification.
- Prepare audit sheets and track prescription status in the system.
- Collaborate with team members to share best practices and support other departments as needed.
