Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years of professional Python development experience.
- Experience architecting complex Python projects or frameworks.
- Track record of taking early-stage libraries or products from first users to broad adoption.
- Professional experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Professional experience with a modern frontend framework such as React or Svelte.
- Experience core-contributing to or maintaining open-source software projects.
- Knowledge of real-time audio/video streaming or networking (WebRTC, WebSockets) is a plus.
- Familiarity with pipecat, LiveKit, FastAPI, or Starlette is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain core features across the team's libraries to ensure scalability and reliability.
- Architect complex Python projects and frameworks that serve as foundational tools for the ML community.
- Grow early-stage libraries by defining API surfaces, writing documentation and demos, and driving adoption.
- Implement real-time streaming and networking capabilities for tools like Gradio.
- Collaborate with open-source contributors through code reviews and community support.
- Integrate modern frontend technologies into Python-based web applications.
