Requirements
- 6+ years of progressive revenue accounting experience with hands-on application of ASC 606.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- CPA credential strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with ASC 340-40 deferred commission accounting.
- Experience providing deal desk or real-time revenue guidance for non-standard contracts.
- Hands-on familiarity with quote-to-cash systems, including Salesforce, NetSuite, and CPQ or billing platforms.
- External audit experience with technical accounting memo development.
- Experience working across multiple legal entities and complex operational structures.
- Experience using AI tools to improve finance workflows.
- Previous people management experience or clear readiness to lead a team.
Responsibilities
- Own technical revenue accounting analysis for ASC 606 performance obligations, variable consideration, and technical memos.
- Provide real-time revenue guidance via deal desk, partnering with Sales and Legal on complex contracts.
- Lead revenue treatment and billing integration for acquired businesses, including legacy system migrations to NetSuite.
- Manage end-to-end quote-to-cash process across Salesforce, CPQ, and NetSuite.
- Lead monthly revenue close, including deferred revenue, deferred commission accounting (ASC 340-40), and credit loss analysis.
- Manage external audit processes, technical documentation, and workpaper preparation.
- Develop and implement AI-enabled workflows for technical accounting and reconciliation processes.
- Manage and develop the revenue accounting team.
