- Valid and active New Jersey DEA certification (schedules 2-5).
- Minimum of two years of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
- Ability to work independently in a 100% virtual environment.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and ethical standards.
- Experience working in women’s health or perinatal mental health is ideal.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental status examinations.
- Formulate diagnoses and develop individualized treatment plans involving medication and therapy.
- Provide evidence-based, patient-centered care with a focus on women's health and perinatal mental health.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and social workers to coordinate holistic patient care.
- Monitor treatment progress and adjust plans based on clinical needs.
- Educate patients and families regarding mental health conditions and wellness strategies.
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with regulations.
