Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Land Planning, Land Surveying, or equivalent.
- 4+ years of project management experience with a focus on electric transmission, utility infrastructure, or energy-related land and ROW work.
- Strong background in easement acquisition and land agreements specific to high-voltage infrastructure.
- Expertise negotiating ROW easements, surface leases, encroachment agreements, rights of entry, fee property, and damage settlements.
- Familiarity with FERC, state utility commission regulations, and property rights frameworks.
- Proficiency with Vision project management software.
- Ability and willingness to travel regionally throughout Wisconsin for client-facing work.
- AAPL or SR/WA certification is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Oversee land and right of way (ROW) acquisition activities for electric transmission infrastructure projects.
- Manage easement negotiations, rights of entry, surface agreements, damage settlements, and fee property transactions.
- Establish and manage project scope, budgets, schedules, contracts, and sub-consultants.
- Deliver regular financial and progress reporting to leadership and maintain project documentation in Vision.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, identify project pipeline opportunities, and represent Atwell locally.
- Coach and mentor project team members.
