Strong product and customer judgment with ability to connect engineering investments to business outcomes.
Excellent written communication skills with experience in globally distributed organizations.
Ability to balance open-source development needs with commercial Cloud-first delivery.
Practical experience using AI and automation in leadership workflows and leading team adoption.
Experience with React or TypeScript is a bonus.
Experience leading developer platform teams or plugins is a bonus.
Experience with information architecture or large-scale platform migrations is a bonus.

Be accountable for the performance of two distributed engineering squads, including coaching, feedback, and performance management.
Own hiring and team planning across squads to align capacity with product priorities.
Lead discovery with squads by engaging with users and analyzing research to shape roadmaps.
Partner with Product and Design to set priorities and resolve cross-functional trade-offs.
Own delivery from discovery through rollout and measurement, setting milestones and managing risks.
Leverage AI tools in management to synthesize feedback and improve decision-making processes.
Lead the adoption of AI and automation to improve engineering productivity and delivery speed.
Set engineering direction for frontend foundations, navigation, search, and developer experience.
Maintain quality, security, and operability standards, including validation of AI-assisted output.
Participate in the engineering management on-call rota and drive incident improvements.
