Requirements
- 5 or more years in a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or equivalent technical pre-sales role.
- Strong engineering background in DevOps, AppSec, and CI/CD.
- Hands-on experience building or securing pipelines.
- Proficiency with CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions, GitLab, CircleCI, Jenkins, or Buildkite.
- Ability to read code, identify vulnerabilities, and write or adapt static analysis rules.
- Experience running end-to-end Proof-of-Value engagements.
- Excellent communication skills across technical and business audiences.
- Computer Science degree or equivalent hands-on software engineering experience.
- Prior experience as a software engineer or in a technical individual contributor role is a plus.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Become a deep product expert and integrate the platform into customer CI/CD pipelines, developer workflows, and AppSec programs.
- Lead technical discovery sessions, diagnose customer environment issues, and advise on solution design.
- Own Proof-of-Value cycles end-to-end, including defining success criteria, configuring environments, and delivering technical wins.
- Write and adapt static analysis rules to identify vulnerabilities and demonstrate product mastery to customers.
- Communicate technical differentiation and value clearly to security engineers, DevOps teams, and executive stakeholders.
- Reduce customer friction by improving demo setups, automation, and educational content.
- Partner with Account Executives on deals averaging approximately $140K ACV.
- Contribute to team scalability through process improvement, enablement, and best practice sharing.
