Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, taxation, or a related field.
- 4–7 years of progressive responsibility in finance, accounting, or tax experience, or 7–10 years of equivalent professional experience.
- Strong foundation in accounting principles including general ledger, journal entries, accruals, and financial reporting.
- Experience in financial operations such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end close activities.
- Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, lookups, data reconciliation).
- Proficiency with accounting software and banking platforms.
- Ability to maintain accurate, audit-ready financial records with strong attention to detail.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
- Ability to manage recurring deadlines while maintaining internal controls.
Responsibilities
- Record and consolidate financial transactions for the organization and disregarded entities per GAAP and IRS standards.
- Manage accounting for investment programs, including assets, liabilities, interest accruals, and cash management.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations and deliver analytical support.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable platforms, ensuring correct coding, documentation, and timely payment processing.
- Manage employee expense processes.
- Prepare schedules and documentation for annual audits and tax filings, including Form 990.
- Issue annual tax forms such as 1099s and 1042-S.
- Assist in maintaining internal training decks for accounting processes.
