Requirements
- 2+ years of experience handling back-office reconciliations, settlements, or options clearing (OCC/CDCC) at a broker-dealer or registered investment dealer.
- Strong data analysis skills, including the ability to identify breaks in large sets of position data.
- Working knowledge of SQL, or a high willingness to learn it quickly.
- Availability to support early and late hours on a rotating basis.
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration with trading, product, and operations teams.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work accurately against tight, non-negotiable deadlines.
- Completion of or progress toward industry courses such as CSC or DFOL is preferred.
- Familiarity with CDS or DTCC settlement is an asset.
- Familiarity with AI tools like Claude AI or Claude Code is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Own daily reconciliation, settlement, and expiration processing across the options book.
- Act as the subject matter expert on OCC and CDCC clearing, including exercises, assignments, and institutional options transfers.
- Partner with the Trade Desk, engineering, and operations teams to resolve trade and position discrepancies.
- Use data analysis tools including SQL, pivot tables, and lookups to identify and fix inefficiencies.
- Build and improve tools and workflows to support business scaling.
- Develop processes to increase the efficiency of back-office operations.
