Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in payments technology as a software engineer, product manager, or related functions.
- Deep experience in banking and/or payment gateways interacting with networks, acquirers, or issuer processors.
- Hands-on experience with AS/400 servers, ISO8583, and ISO20022.
- Proficiency in payments ecosystem concepts such as DUKPT encryption, EBCDIC encoding, and modern observability.
- Strong experience designing and building APIs, enterprise authentication, and private networking.
- Ability to write technical documentation for online publication and RFP presentations.
- Technical conviction regarding software architecture and operationalized systems.
- Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Meet with banks, processors, customers, and engineering leaders to map technical problems to business needs.
- Define technical requirements, prioritize features, and create roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
- Manage complex, multi-continent implementation rollouts for banking and acquiring use-cases.
- Ideate a configurable, developer-friendly interface for payments technologists.
- Integrate and build upon existing VGS platform products and concepts.
