Requirements
- 4+ years of mortgage loan closing experience.
- Proficiency in Loan Origination Systems (LOS), document preparation software, and closing platforms.
- Strong knowledge of closing guidelines and federal/state lending regulations.
- Advanced working knowledge of TRID and state-level disclosure requirements.
- Experience training and mentoring team members.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Intellectual curiosity and interest in applying technology to mortgage processes.
- Quality Control (QC) experience is considered a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead final review of complex loans, including multi-lien transactions and CEMA.
- Manage the full funding process, including wire requests, funding review, and authorization.
- Prepare and review Closing Disclosures (CDs), loan documents, and escrow instructions.
- Coordinate with title companies, escrow agents, and borrowers to facilitate closing.
- Resolve escalations related to title, escrow, compliance, and funding.
- Verify final loan terms, fees, and funding details to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with processing, origination, and post-closing departments to ensure compliance.
- Proactively maintain loan pipeline and meet critical deadlines in a high-volume environment.
