Effective in a remote, globally distributed organizational environment.
Appreciation for open-source development and experience balancing Cloud-first delivery.
Practical experience utilizing AI and automation in leadership workflows.
Experience with React, TypeScript, or large-scale frontend ecosystems (bonus).
Experience leading developer platform teams, navigation/search products, or multitenant SaaS (bonus).

Manage two distributed engineering squads, setting expectations, coaching members, and fostering a culture of accountability.
Oversee hiring and team planning, aligning capacity with product priorities.
Lead discovery sessions with customers and internal users to shape roadmaps.
Collaborate with Product and Design to resolve dependencies and prioritize investments.
Manage delivery from discovery through rollout, setting milestones and mitigating risks.
Drive the adoption of AI and automation to improve engineering workflows and decision-making.
Set technical direction for frontend foundations and navigation features with senior engineers.
Establish and maintain engineering standards for quality, security, and operability.
Participate in the engineering management on-call rotation and drive incident reduction.
