Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience as a lawyer in commercial or corporate legal practice.
- Experience in an international in-house team or a law firm.
- Proven experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and redlining commercial contracts and NDAs.
- Business fluency in German and English, with the ability to advise and draft in both languages.
- Strong project management skills to handle a high volume of contracts.
- Demonstrated capability in conducting legal research and translating findings into practical advice.
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize deadlines.
- Experience maintaining and improving document templates, clause libraries, and standard forms.
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, cross-border team environment.
Responsibilities
- Advise internal teams and triage legal requests, escalating complex matters as needed.
- Support senior counsel on complex legal matters and projects under supervision.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and NDAs in both English and German.
- Maintain trackers for contract lifecycles, renewals, and corporate filings across multiple jurisdictions.
- Provide day-to-day legal input and guidance to commercial, finance, and operational teams.
- Conduct legal research on statutes, regulations, and case law to provide actionable advice.
- Identify and implement improvements for contract templates, clause libraries, and playbooks.
- Assist with corporate governance, record maintenance, and regulatory compliance tasks.
