Requirements
- JD from an ABA-approved law school.
- Active California Bar license.
- 8+ years of solid litigation experience, specifically with litigation support, deposition, and trial preparation.
- Proven ability to manage full case handling responsibilities, including discovery and trial.
- Experience handling insurance defense matters.
- Experience with time management systems.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to think and act independently with minimal supervision.
- Outstanding listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Develop compelling case themes to counter plaintiff strategies.
- Independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team with varying experience levels.
- Conduct routine communications with clients.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing and future clients.
- Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship to less experienced attorneys.
