Requirements
- Master's or PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Data Science, Statistical Analysis, or Applied Research.
- Expert-level Python proficiency.
- Advanced SQL and PySpark skills.
- Experience with machine learning libraries including Scikit-Learn, XGBoost, LightGBM, Pandas, Polars, Statsmodels, and SciPy.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Strong understanding of Experimental Design, Hypothesis Testing, Causal Inference, and Model Validation.
- Experience with cloud storage platforms like GCS or Azure Blob Storage.
- Professional experience using Git and MLflow or similar experiment tracking tools.
- Familiarity with software engineering best practices including versioning and documentation.
- Ability to use and validate outputs from Generative AI tools.
- Advanced English (B2 - C2) fluency.
Responsibilities
- Translate complex business challenges into data science and machine learning solutions.
- Design, develop, validate, and deploy statistical and ML models.
- Work with large-scale datasets using Python, SQL, and PySpark.
- Collaborate closely with ML Engineers and Data Engineers to deliver production-ready solutions.
- Apply rigorous statistical methods, hypothesis testing, and causal inference techniques.
- Document models, assumptions, limitations, and experiment results following engineering standards.
- Develop modular, maintainable, and reproducible Python code.
