Requirements
- Expertise in designing and implementing logical and physical data models for cloud and hybrid data warehouse environments
- Experience with multiple full life-cycle data warehouse implementations
- Understanding of data architectures required to support data integration processing
- Experience with data modeling tools such as ER/Studio or ER/Win
- Proficiency in Microsoft Azure Data Platform services including Azure Data Lake Store, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and Azure SQL
- Proficiency in Python and SQL scripting, including PySpark
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn, adopt and apply new technologies
- Ability to build out data pipelines and configure Azure data service resources
- Knowledge of API creation and management
Responsibilities
- Design and implement logical and physical data models for cloud and hybrid data warehouse environments
- Implement data architectures to support structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data
- Support full life-cycle data warehouse implementations
- Architect data integration processing solutions
- Perform data profiling and create source-to-target mappings
- Provision and configure Azure data service resources
- Build out data pipelines based on client requirements
