Requirements
- BA/BS in Business, Science or related field OR 4 years of experience in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Word.
- Intermediate or higher proficiency in MS Powerpoint.
- Strong business writing skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to enter orders with minimal errors.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and self-motivate.
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
- Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to follow company procedures.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel to Watsonville, CA headquarters once every 3 months if remote.
Responsibilities
- Process specialty orders including EDI orders and Customer Education orders.
- Process Key Account promotional orders and Specialty Customer orders.
- Invoice key accounts through EDI system software.
- Close sales orders left open for low inventory items.
- Cross-train on multiple department areas to provide back-up for order entry, returns, and credits.
- Collaborate with the Accounting Department for account clean up on open items, invoicing, and credits.
- Support department staff and assist with miscellaneous administrative tasks and projects.
