Requirements
- BS/BA in a related discipline required; MS/MA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in multi-family or commercial construction as a contractor, construction manager, or project manager.
- Experience managing contractor licensing, registrations, and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Strong knowledge of contractor qualification processes, including onboarding and insurance compliance.
- Proficiency with compliance tracking systems, databases, and reporting tools such as QuickBase.
- Ability to recruit and develop networks of qualified contractors for renovation and construction services.
- Must obtain state contractor certifications for organizational use.
- Ability to travel overnight 20% to 50% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Assess contractor service capabilities and performance to identify improvement opportunities.
- Recruit and onboard new contractors while serving as the primary point of contact.
- Develop and maintain a contractor performance grading system and conduct quality audits.
- Facilitate communication between contractors and sales teams regarding project and compliance requirements.
- Manage and approve contractor licenses and scopes of work within the QuickBase system.
- Participate in strategy discussions regarding organizational platform integrations.
