Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 10-15+ years of applicable professional experience.
  • 5+ years of program management experience.
  • Proven experience with federal government contract program management.
  • Strategic thinking capabilities with experience in building frameworks, policies, and procedures.
  • Demonstrated success leading teams in dynamic, fast-paced, and ambiguous environments.
  • Strong background in Risk Management, Quality Management, and quality control.
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders and government personnel including the COR.
  • Excellent attention to detail and critical problem-solving skills.
  • Client service and service delivery excellence.
  • DoD experience (Desired).
  • IT program management experience (Desired).

Responsibilities

  • Strategically and operationally support the Programs Department by developing technical solution frameworks, policies, and procedures.
  • Liaise with business development teams to advise on proposal scoping, technical solutions, staffing models, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Partner with the Finance department to establish an estimate at completion (EAC) process for improved contract forecasting.
  • Serve as the Transition Program Manager for new contracts, managing technical kick-offs and staff hiring for the initial 60-90+ days.
  • Act as an interim Program Manager to ensure service continuity during vacancies or on long-term contracts.
  • Represent the Programs department in headquarters working sessions and coordinate with internal departments and teaming partners.
  • Manage contract risks, monitor quality standards, and design administrative processes for deliverable tracking.
  • Facilitate bi-weekly status meetings with Program Managers and oversee deliverables for IDIQ and GWA contracts.
