Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on software engineering experience building and operating production SaaS products.
- Strong experience with TypeScript and Node.js (NestJS preferred).
- Experience developing customer-facing web applications using Vue.js, React, or Angular.
- Deep experience building distributed systems with message queues, background workers, and schedulers.
- Extensive experience integrating with high-volume third-party APIs and managing rate limits.
- Experience with MongoDB and Redis.
- Experience with large-scale data ingestion and warehousing using tools like ClickHouse, BigQuery, Snowflake, or Elasticsearch.
- Proven track record of building production AI applications (LLM APIs, RAG, embeddings).
- Strong understanding of system design and architectural trade-offs.
- Experience applying Test-Driven Development or automated testing practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Own critical subsystems and large product features from discovery and design through rollout and monitoring.
- Lead major technical initiatives and drive implementation strategies and post-release improvements.
- Design and operate reliable distributed systems using message queues, background workers, and caching.
- Build large-scale data pipelines to ingest and process social data and metrics.
- Develop backend APIs and customer-facing frontend experiences with a focus on performance and usability.
- Build production-grade AI capabilities including LLMs, RAG, and agentic workflows.
- Promote Test-Driven Development and automated testing to ensure production quality.
- Mentor engineers and drive technical decision-making through design reviews and documentation.
