Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience with JavaScript across multiple frameworks and companies.
- Deep expertise in TypeScript, including class-oriented design, strong typing, SOLID principles, and OOP patterns.
- Extensive experience designing REST APIs for third-party platform integrations.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, query performance, indexing strategies, and schema design in MySQL or RDBMS.
- Clear proficiency with React, state management, and API integration.
- Experience with cloud-native services in AWS.
- Proven track record of defining and shipping major features as part of a team.
- Experience with test-driven development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively use AI agents (e.g., Claude, Codex) for software delivery.
- Experience with Shopify platform structures and data is highly desirable.
- Experience with SRE practices and observability tools like DataDog is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver serverless TypeScript services on AWS Lambda, backed by MySQL and Prisma ORM.
- Contribute to modern React applications that integrate with Shopify and Klaviyo ecosystems.
- Own features end-to-end, from architectural proposal and implementation to monitoring in production.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver modern software for high-volume subscription systems.
- Support the Customer Success team via an escalation schedule for production maintenance.
- Participate in architectural discussions and decision-making processes.
- Build AI product features, including agent context and MCPs for LLM integration.
