Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in healthcare compliance, regulatory affairs, healthcare operations, grievance and appeals, quality, auditing, or risk management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess risk.
- Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience working effectively in a remote or hybrid environment is preferred.
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, legal studies, public health, or project management is preferred.
- Certification in healthcare compliance (CHC) or healthcare privacy (CHPC) is preferred.
- Working knowledge of HIPAA, state privacy laws, OSHA workplace safety standards, and healthcare licensing requirements is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage assigned compliance projects and initiatives from planning through completion by establishing timelines, coordinating deliverables, and monitoring progress.
- Monitor, research, and interpret regulatory developments and guidance to assess operational risks and support change management.
- Investigate and support the resolution of grievances, complaints, regulatory inquiries, and compliance reviews.
- Lead and support on-site compliance reviews, audits, and assessments, including OSHA and operational compliance activities.
- Support licensing, regulatory, and corrective action activities, including submissions and remediation efforts.
- Analyze compliance data and maintain reporting and tracking systems to support audit readiness.
- Develop and enhance compliance policies, procedures, training materials, and educational resources.
- Identify and implement process improvements through technology and workflow solutions.
