Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, or Chemical Engineering.
- Master’s degree in any field.
- Professional Engineer’s (PE) license.
- At least ten years of experience performing engineering duties related to design or construction.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines autonomously.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is desirable.
- American Petroleum Institute (API) certifications are highly desirable.
- Must be able to perform physical demands including lifting 10-50 pounds and navigating uneven terrain as required.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical engineering and Subject Matter Expert (SME) support to the AFCEC/CFSD.
- Conduct design reviews and provide recommendations for corrective action or approval.
- Perform technical reviews of RFIs, A&E deliverables, and construction submittals.
- Provide expert analysis to Government Project Managers regarding contractor deliverables for compliance with DoD and industry standards.
- Develop and present technical presentations, visual media, or training for mission areas.
- Travel to various Air Force bases and occasional meetings at HQ AFCEC.
