Requirements
- CPA license (active or eligible).
- 8+ years of progressive experience in Big 4 FAAS, PE-backed controllership, or executive-level corporate finance.
- Demonstrated mastery of technical accounting standards, including ASC 606, 842, and 805.
- Deep fluency in middle-market finance functions, ERP system transitions, and cash-to-accrual migrations.
- Strong command of US GAAP and PE-specific accounting such as normalization and carve-outs.
- Experience managing multi-stakeholder dynamics involving PE sponsors, management teams, and auditors.
- Ability to design and own complex workplans for organizational change.
- Demonstrated experience in team leadership, talent development, and capacity structuring.
- Ability to travel for engagement kickoffs and firm meetings (estimated 20-30%).
Responsibilities
- Own a portfolio of concurrent client engagements as the senior point of accountability.
- Translate PE-backed finance challenges and goals into executable transformation plans.
- Provide technical oversight on ASC 606, 842, and complex transaction accounting.
- Direct finance and accounting change management, including close process and reporting improvements.
- Manage post-acquisition integration, cash flow visibility, and exit preparation workstreams.
- Build the FAAS practice by refining methodology, hiring, and developing internal frameworks.
- Counsel PE partners, CFOs, and Boards on strategic financial decisions.
