Requirements
- 8+ years of experience leading data organizations.
- 3+ years of experience managing engineering managers.
- Experience leading engineering teams through technological consolidation (e.g., M&A).
- Proven experience owning engineering functions including Martech, Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, and Data Science.
- Practical experience with data privacy and compliance frameworks like GDPR and CCPA.
- Deep familiarity with the modern data stack (dbt, Airflow, Snowflake).
- Demonstrable experience using agentic AI tooling in production engineering environments.
- Direct ownership history of cloud, warehouse, or infrastructure budgets.
- Track record of consolidating fragmented data estates via warehouse or platform migration.
- Experience building and managing high-performing global teams across multiple time zones.
- Plus: Experience managing Data Science or ML teams.
Responsibilities
- Unify data strategy and standards across Martech, Core Data, Analytics Engineering, and Data Science functions.
- Manage engineering managers directly and provide skip-level visibility into technical leads.
- Oversee the organization's end-to-end roadmap, including delivery, team growth, and technical evolution.
- Consolidate fragmented data estates and retire technical debt across a group-scale platform.
- Establish reliable pipelines with clear SLAs and data governance practices.
- Partner with executive stakeholders to align OKR-driven initiatives with business requirements.
- Drive the adoption of agentic AI workflows to improve team efficiency.
- Build and scale global teams across the US, Australia, and India.
