Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 2 years of related professional experience, preferably in project coordination, healthcare, research, or data analysis.
- Ability to translate project requirements into practical operational actions.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple priorities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data review and documentation.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to conduct basic research, synthesize information, and extract insights.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to provide team support and work independently in a virtual environment.
- Experience with CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) is preferred.
- Knowledge of health insurance exchanges is preferred.
- Proficiency with Airtable or similar project management tools is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Review health insurance application data to evaluate eligibility for Advance Payment of Premium Tax Credits (APTC) on state-based health insurance exchanges.
- Determine potential APTC improper payments, document and report findings, resolve discrepancies, and support the timely closure of appeal cases.
- Lead the execution of assigned project activities, coordinating work across a small team.
- Perform oversight and quality reviews of work products produced by team members.
- Present findings, project updates, and relevant insights to project leadership and stakeholders.
- Support annual program updates by conducting health policy analysis and translating findings into recommendations.
- Manage project information and workflows through tools such as Airtable.
- Assist with developing and maintaining project plans, timelines, and milestones.
