Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in platform security, cloud security, or infrastructure security.
- Deep, hands-on experience securing production AWS environments including IAM, workload identity, and network security.
- Strong production Kubernetes security experience, preferably with Amazon EKS.
- Experience designing or securing mission-critical systems involving sensitive data.
- Strong understanding of identity, authorization, least privilege, and blast-radius reduction.
- Experience securing CI/CD and software supply chains, including GitHub Actions.
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code using tools such as Pulumi, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
- Ability to write production-quality code in TypeScript, Python, Go, or Rust.
- High agency and ownership to resolve complex security problems from investigation to remediation.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with infrastructure and engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Own and continuously improve security across a multi-account AWS environment including IAM, networking, compute, storage, and secrets.
- Secure production Kubernetes environments on Amazon EKS including cluster configuration, RBAC, admission controls, and tenant isolation.
- Design least-privilege access models and create auditable paths for sensitive production systems.
- Lead security architecture for new infrastructure, platform services, and major architectural changes.
- Build reusable security controls through infrastructure and policy as code using tools like Pulumi or Terraform.
- Strengthen CI/CD and software supply chain security across GitHub Actions, build runners, and deployment paths.
- Develop security automation and AI-assisted workflows to identify and remediate cloud risks.
