Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, statistics, data science, or mathematics; Master's preferred.
  • 7–10 years of experience in strategic planning, data science, performance measurement, or evaluation.
  • Proven experience with data warehouses, ETL processes, and relational databases.
  • Strong proficiency in statistical programming (R, Python, and/or SPSS).
  • Expertise in research methodologies, including longitudinal studies and control groups.
  • Advanced experience designing interactive dashboards in Tableau and Microsoft Power BI.
  • Proficiency with SQL and survey tools such as Qualtrics.
  • Strong project management skills, including managing external contractors and risks.
  • Knowledge of K-12 education technology and data privacy regulations.
  • Exceptional technical writing skills for academic-grade reports and grants.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% for meetings and annual retreats.

Responsibilities

  • Develop theory of change models, logic frameworks, and KPIs to track program outcomes and ROI.
  • Lead research design, including longitudinal studies and control groups, to evaluate program efficacy.
  • Build self-service dashboards using Tableau or Microsoft Power BI to monitor organizational performance.
  • Streamline data collection using SQL and platforms like Qualtrics.
  • Conduct advanced statistical analyses using R, Python, and/or SPSS.
  • Produce academic-quality reports and documentation for grant compliance and funding proposals.
  • Translate complex data insights into visualizations for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Manage cross-functional project teams and external research contractors.
