Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, statistics, data science, or mathematics; Master's preferred.
- 7–10 years of experience in strategic planning, data science, performance measurement, or evaluation.
- Proven experience with data warehouses, ETL processes, and relational databases.
- Strong proficiency in statistical programming (R, Python, and/or SPSS).
- Expertise in research methodologies, including longitudinal studies and control groups.
- Advanced experience designing interactive dashboards in Tableau and Microsoft Power BI.
- Proficiency with SQL and survey tools such as Qualtrics.
- Strong project management skills, including managing external contractors and risks.
- Knowledge of K-12 education technology and data privacy regulations.
- Exceptional technical writing skills for academic-grade reports and grants.
- Willingness to travel up to 15% for meetings and annual retreats.
Responsibilities
- Develop theory of change models, logic frameworks, and KPIs to track program outcomes and ROI.
- Lead research design, including longitudinal studies and control groups, to evaluate program efficacy.
- Build self-service dashboards using Tableau or Microsoft Power BI to monitor organizational performance.
- Streamline data collection using SQL and platforms like Qualtrics.
- Conduct advanced statistical analyses using R, Python, and/or SPSS.
- Produce academic-quality reports and documentation for grant compliance and funding proposals.
- Translate complex data insights into visualizations for non-technical stakeholders.
- Manage cross-functional project teams and external research contractors.
