Requirements

  • Bring 6+ years of experience in programmatic advertising, campaign management, ad operations, or a related digital media function, with strong knowledge of the programmatic ecosystem.
  • Demonstrate direct people management experience, ideally leading teams responsible for campaign execution, optimization, trading, or technical campaign support.
  • Have hands-on experience optimizing or trading programmatic campaigns, including pacing, performance analysis, troubleshooting, and developing recommendations based on campaign data.
  • Possess a strong technical understanding of DSP workflows, campaign setup, bidding dynamics, pixels, quality assurance, and programmatic optimization best practices.
  • Demonstrate a track record of identifying process improvements and helping implement scalable solutions across teams and operational environments.
  • Bring strong curiosity and an interest in automation, systems, operational efficiency, and the continued evolution of programmatic advertising.
  • Have excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to establish accountability, coach team members, and work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Ad Operations Specialists, establishing a culture of accountability, curiosity, continuous learning, and high-quality execution.
  • Oversee campaign setup, trafficking, QA, troubleshooting, pacing, and delivery across programmatic advertising channels, ensuring campaigns are launched accurately and supported throughout their lifecycle.
  • Guide the team’s evolution from manual campaign execution toward a more automated and optimization-focused operating model, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Coach specialists on campaign optimization support, including pacing analysis, performance troubleshooting, data interpretation, and the development of actionable recommendations.
  • Partner with Account Management, Account Executives, Client Partnerships, Product, Engineering, and related teams to improve operational workflows, handoffs, tooling, and overall campaign performance.
  • Identify and implement process improvements through automation, templates, standard operating procedures, and scalable operational practices.
  • Monitor team performance, workload, quality, and operational metrics to identify gaps, improve processes, and provide informed recommendations to leadership.
