Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of supply chain negotiation experience, including substantial global strategic sourcing and commodity management.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in contract electronics manufacturing or a closely related manufacturing environment.
- Advanced knowledge of global strategic sourcing, commodity management, and total-cost-of-ownership principles.
- Strong experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and business analytics tools.
- Proven experience developing sourcing strategies and managing supplier relationships.
- Demonstrated leadership and team-development capabilities for globally distributed teams.
- Strong analytical, strategic-thinking, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively with senior executives and external suppliers.
- Willingness to travel internationally and domestically up to 30%.
Responsibilities
- Lead global strategic sourcing, commodity management, and supplier negotiation initiatives.
- Improve global commodity quotation processes and establish performance expectations.
- Analyze global spend, pricing, and active-part data to optimize total cost of ownership.
- Develop and execute strategies addressing supplier quality, service, and long-term value.
- Build and maintain reporting for savings, purchase price variance, and supplier performance.
- Monitor market shifts and implement supplier risk mitigation and business continuity plans.
- Develop and mentor global supply chain teams.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on projects supporting margin improvement and financial objectives.
