Responsibilities
- Serve as an integral member of the interdisciplinary group in home care, respite, inpatient, or administrative settings.
- Provide support to patients and families under the guidance of the Volunteer Coordinator and Case Manager.
- Perform household chores, run errands, and provide respite care as instructed.
- Document care activities while maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Participate in volunteer support groups, educational in-services, and interdisciplinary meetings.
- Maintain regular communication with the Volunteer Coordinator.
- Participate in quality assessment and performance improvement activities.
