Requirements
- Proven experience as a communications leader shaping narratives for technical or data-driven organizations.
- Deep fluency in AI, application architecture, and data infrastructure concepts.
- Strong media and industry analyst relationships.
- Experience engaging with technical executives, developers, and product leaders.
- Ability to act as a strong executive counselor and challenge senior leadership thinking.
- Demonstrated skill in building and managing high-performing global teams.
- Expertise in identifying and managing high-stakes communications moments.
- Strong operational skills to create clarity and lead complex strategies through to execution.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the CMO and senior leadership to define and execute a cohesive external communications agenda.
- Build and maintain platforms for the CEO and senior leaders to sharpen their points of view.
- Lead global strategy across traditional, technical, and social media, including influencers, creators, and podcasts.
- Develop strategic relationships with industry analysts to shape enterprise understanding of MongoDB.
- Oversee major company moments including product launches, keynotes, earnings, and reputation issues.
- Manage and develop a global team responsible for corporate, executive, product, analyst, social, and internal communications.
