Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or 2 years of experience in the airline industry, auditing experience, or related area.
- Knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to audit and document complex business and operational processes.
- C.A.S.E. Qualified Auditor.
- Strong ability to balance and effectively manage multiple projects.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
- Valid passport.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum age of 18.
- Ability to travel frequently, including international travel.
- Valid FAA Certification (A&P, Powerplant or Repairman) preferred.
- Auditor certification (e.g., CQA, CIA, or ISO Quality Auditor) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform assigned QA audits utilizing department methodology and workpapers.
- Execute audit engagements using standardized checklists and/or inquiry-based procedures.
- Conduct complex reviews and investigations to support M&E operations.
- Perform audits in support of the Coordinating Agency for Supplier Evaluation (C.A.S.E.).
- Execute root cause analysis and monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Manage audit results and findings within the QA database.
- Partner with leadership to define the long-term QA audit schedule and strategy.
- Promote risk management awareness and operational safety across the organization.
- Support external reviews including DOD surveys and IATA Operational Safety Audits (IOSA).
