Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field from an accredited university.
- Minimum of three years of experience if the candidate does not possess a Bachelor’s degree.
- Active Secret clearance.
- Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
- Familiarity with IT for NAVSEA compliance.
- Strong communication, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods.
- Ability to lead and participate in meetings and working groups.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the point-of-contact for obtaining IT Approvals for the procurement of hardware, software, and services via the Crane CIO Office and NAV-IDAS tool.
- Generate acquisition packages to support customer IT procurement requests, performing Acquisition Management Specialist and Acquisition Quality Manager functions.
- Interface with customers to identify requirements, analyze approval approaches, and validate compliance with policies and statutes.
- Input Information Technology Procurement Requests (ITPRs) into the NAV-IDAS system.
- Develop Procurement Data Packages (PDP) from line departments to ensure all pre-solicitation requirements are addressed.
- Track all in-progress requests and maintain communication with customers to resolve rejections and inquiries.
- Provide tracking and analysis of procurement data to offer recommendations for quality, schedule, and efficiency improvements.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of acquisition documents and verify accuracy of requirements.
