Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3–7 years of software development experience
- Strong experience with Java development
- Experience with Spring Framework and/or Spring Boot
- Experience developing REST APIs and web services
- Experience working with Oracle or other relational databases
- Experience using Git-based source control
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise Java applications
- Analyze and resolve complex software defects and production issues
- Support enhancements and sustainment activities for legacy Java technologies
- Design and implement REST and SOAP-based services and integrations
- Develop and maintain modern backend services using Java 17+, Spring Boot, and microservices
- Develop and optimize SQL queries and database integrations
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers
- Contribute to automated testing, CI/CD processes, and application deployments
- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver software solutions
