Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on Shopify development experience.
- Proficiency in Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Shopify APIs.
- Experience with Shopify theme customization, app integrations, and custom section builds.
- Proven track record of driving measurable eCommerce conversion rate improvements.
- Strong understanding of website performance optimization and core web vitals.
- Ability to independently run A/B tests, analyze results, and iterate.
- Detail-oriented with clean, organized coding practices.
- Proactive, driven, and ownership-focused.
Responsibilities
- Identify and implement front-end and back-end improvements to Shopify-based websites and landing pages.
- Run A/B tests, user experience optimizations, and CRO experiments independently.
- Optimize page speed, mobile responsiveness, and checkout flow performance.
- Build custom features, sections, and pages within Shopify’s Liquid framework and via third-party apps as needed.
- Analyze site metrics, heatmaps, and customer behavior tools to proactively surface opportunities for improvement.
- Work closely with design, marketing, and product teams to translate ideas into functional, tested, high-performance web solutions.
- Maintain clean, well-documented code and follow internal development workflows.
- Track, report, and iterate based on the results of tests and site improvement.
