Requirements
- 4+ years shipping production software.
- Proficiency in Python and at least one of C++, C#, or TypeScript at a production level.
- Strong graphics literacy, including PBR materials, color spaces, and common 3D formats (OpenUSD, glTF, FBX, Alembic).
- Ability to explain why assets render differently across renderers.
- Proven ability to debug complex asset pipelines across third-party systems.
- Experience with DCC tool integration (Substance, Maya, Blender, Unreal) or platform integrations (SaaS APIs, OAuth, webhooks).
- Familiarity with OpenUSD, AOUSD, OpenPBR, or MaterialX is a plus.
- Exposure to web/XR graphics runtimes like Three.js, WebGL, WebGPU, visionOS, or Quest is a plus.
- Experience in customer-facing technical integrations or domain exposure in e-commerce, media and entertainment, or AEC is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Build plugins and exporters inside tools including Substance, Maya, Blender, Houdini, Unity, and Unreal.
- Build integrations into customer platforms such as asset management systems, content management systems, and web/SaaS destinations.
- Own each integration end-to-end from scoping and building to packaging, release, documentation, and support.
- Extend the shared integration framework to streamline the development of new integrations.
- Maintain asset fidelity across the pipeline, including managing USD, material attributes, scene scaling, and color spaces.
- Collaborate with partner platforms, SDKs, and APIs to overcome integration constraints.
- Write documentation and sample code for external developers and artists.
- Partner with product engineering teams to integrate systems cleanly.
- Work directly with DCC and platform vendors on joint integrations.
