Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, audit (Big 4), financial controlling or a similar Finance role.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of P&L, balance sheet and cash flow accounting.
- Hands-on experience owning or coordinating monthly and annual financial closings.
- Experience with multiple legal entities and intercompany accounting.
- Strong understanding of financial controls and audit requirements.
- Experience working with ERP systems.
- Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills and confidence working with large financial datasets.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- A hands-on, ownership-driven approach to issue investigation and root cause identification.
- Interest in using AI, automation and new technologies to improve Finance processes.
Responsibilities
- Own the monthly, quarterly and annual closing process across the Group.
- Coordinate accounting across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions.
- Supervise day-to-day accounting activities including revenue, COGS, inventory, payroll, and GL accounting.
- Review journal entries, reconciliations, and balance sheet accounts.
- Own monthly Group consolidation across multiple entities and currencies.
- Coordinate VAT compliance and other indirect tax obligations across operating jurisdictions.
- Manage accounting processes within NetSuite and identify process improvements.
- Develop and implement AI-enabled workflows for reconciliations, closing controls, and anomaly detection.
