Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- 4-7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with significant revenue, order-to-cash, or e-commerce focus.
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, specifically ASC 606.
- Experience with high-volume transaction environments in DTC e-commerce, wholesale, or retail.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage tight close deadlines.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- CPA preferred.
- NetSuite experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with Power BI, SQL, or other data-reconciliation tools is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own monthly revenue close activities for DTC, marketplace, wholesale and other sales channels.
- Prepare and review revenue-related journal entries, reconciliations, rollforward schedules and variance analysis.
- Reconcile gross sales, discounts, refunds, chargebacks, and payment processor activities.
- Ensure revenue is recognized according to ASC 606 policies.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify root causes of deductions, returns, and billing issues.
- Serve as the key resource for NetSuite revenue workflows and order-to-cash processes.
- Prepare audit-ready technical accounting memos and supporting schedules.
