Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience (Staff/Senior Accountant, Cost Accountant, Assistant Controller, or Controller).
- 3+ years of ERP experience as an end user or implementation consultant, including at least one full-cycle implementation.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
- Depth in inventory accounting, cost accounting in manufacturing, GL management, or AR/AP operations.
- Strong understanding of operational transactions translating to financial entries.
- Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites as required.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and independent remote work skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP preferred.
- Background in agriculture, feed milling, or food manufacturing preferred.
- Knowledge of SQL for data validation preferred.
- CPA or CMA certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead installation, configuration, testing, training, and go-live support for Datacor Animal Nutrition products at customer sites and remotely.
- Partner with Delivery Managers to execute project plans, hit milestones, and manage scope across concurrent implementations.
- Design and configure the accounting foundation including chart of accounts, GL mapping, and system integration points.
- Configure and validate inventory costing methodology, cost roll-ups, and work-in-process treatment.
- Validate that manufacturing and billing transactions produce correct financial results through sub-ledger to GL reconciliation.
- Deliver training tailored to plant operators, office staff, and controllers.
- Manage multiple engagements simultaneously and maintain documentation in Taskray.
