- Experience with editorial outreach strategies.
- Proficiency with Semrush for tracking placements and domain authority.
- Ability to identify and qualify high-authority, relevant websites.
- Strong skills in relationship building with publishers and outlets.
- Demonstrable experience managing an outreach pipeline.
- Ability to assess and avoid spammy or low-quality link opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Identify relevant, authoritative websites and media opportunities for backlink acquisition.
- Conduct targeted outreach to secure editorial placements.
- Pursue opportunities through HARO/Qwoted, podcasts, guest posts, and similar channels.
- Build and manage relationships with relevant outlets and publishers.
- Manage opportunities from initial outreach through to confirmed placement.
- Maintain an active pipeline of upcoming backlink and editorial opportunities.
- Track placements and referring-domain growth using Semrush.
- Monitor backlink quality and flag potentially spammy, low-authority, or paid-placement-heavy opportunities.
- Provide a concise weekly report covering placements, progress, and upcoming targets.
