- Strong background in backlink outreach, link building, or digital PR.
- Experience with securing earned media placements.
- Ability to identify and vet authoritative websites.
- Proficiency in managing editorial outreach pipelines.
- Ability to monitor and maintain backlink quality.
- Experience using Semrush for tracking backlink performance.
- Focus on results-driven outcomes (placements and referring domains) rather than activity volume.
- Ability to work full-time hours (40 hours per week).
- Ability to work during Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours.
Responsibilities
- Identify relevant, authoritative websites and media opportunities for backlink acquisition.
- Conduct targeted outreach to secure editorial placements.
- Pursue opportunities through HARO/Qwoted, podcasts, guest posts, and similar channels.
- Build and manage relationships with relevant outlets and publishers.
- Manage opportunities from initial outreach through to confirmed placement.
- Maintain an active pipeline of upcoming backlink and editorial opportunities.
- Track placements and referring-domain growth using Semrush.
- Monitor backlink quality and flag potentially spammy, low-authority, or paid-placement-heavy opportunities.
- Provide a concise weekly report on placements, progress, and growth metrics.
