Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and 8+ years of experience.
- Hands-on experience across the front end, back end, and database layers.
- Server-side development expertise using frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, Node.js, or PHP.
- Proficiency with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
- Modern HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development skills.
- Familiarity with database design.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming paradigms.
- Understanding of functional programming paradigms.
- Experience working on SaaS products in a regulated or research-focused industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with automated testing tools and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
- Exposure to accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and security best practices is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product, operations, and support team members to design, develop, and maintain the LabArchives suite of products.
- Iteratively plan, build, test, and release new software features.
- Create and maintain a robust unit test suite.
- Participate in the creation and expansion of our automation test framework.
- Participate in code reviews, security audits, and accessibility evaluations.
