Requirements
- PhD preferred; Master's degree with exceptional industry experience considered.
- Educational background in Biology, Cell Biology, Immunology, Protein Engineering, Antibody Engineering, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, or related life science disciplines.
- Strong scientific background and industry experience in biotechnology or life sciences.
- Proven experience in product management, product strategy, or related roles.
- Experience in protein engineering and antibody discovery/optimization.
- Experience in Cell & Gene Therapy (GCT) reagent development.
- Experience in functional proteins, bioassays, or advanced protein purification technologies.
- Preferred experience in Early Discovery, Platform Development, or CMC within biopharma or top-tier CROs.
- Strong skills in strategic and systems thinking, market insight, and cross-functional leadership.
- Ability to synthesize scientific innovation, customer insight, and business strategy.
- Excellent executive communication and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Build long-term product portfolio strategies across antibodies, recombinant proteins, enzymes, bioassays, protein purification products, and Cell & Gene Therapy (GCT) reagents.
- Pinpoint technology white spaces and unarticulated customer needs to establish a sustainable, high-margin product menu.
- Formulate and maintain future product roadmaps aligned with global business unit growth objectives.
- Transform scientific insights into commercial opportunities by deep-diving into customer workflows and Jobs-to-be-Done (JTBD).
- Evaluate future portfolio opportunities by integrating scientific feasibility, market potential, competitive differentiation, and business economics.
- Conduct 'Build vs. Buy vs. Partner' assessments to support annual strategic planning and executive innovation reviews.
- Partner with R&D, Marketing, Business Development, and Commercial teams to transform ideas into product development programs.
- Develop data-driven strategic recommendations and business cases for executive investment decisions.
