Requirements
- Proficiency in systems design and ability to write clear design documents.
- Strong programming experience in Python and/or Bash.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS or Google Cloud.
- Proven experience operating, upgrading, and debugging Kubernetes in production.
- Demonstrated ownership of service reliability, including SLIs, SLOs, and incident response.
- Experience implementing security practices like access control, secrets management, and patching.
Responsibilities
- Architect and optimise cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, security, and resilience.
- Implement comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and distributed tracing capabilities.
- Support as an incident lead for PlatformOps and conduct blameless post-incident reviews.
- Develop scalable automation frameworks to streamline engineering workflows.
- Act as a technical advisor and mentor engineers across various engineering teams.
