Requirements
- Proven experience writing maintainable, testable backend code.
- Strong background in API or integration-heavy environments.
- Expertise in platform engineering with a focus on product-level connectivity.
- Fluent with AI tools for daily software engineering tasks.
- Systematic approach to debugging across distributed services.
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and drive complex projects through to release.
- Proficiency with the company stack: TypeScript, Node.js, React, AWS, Docker, and PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like CDK or CloudFormation.
- Strong collaborative mindset for team operations and knowledge sharing.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain API integrations with OEMs and energy partners to ensure reliability and performance.
- Utilize AI tools to automate tasks and contribute to the team's shared AI skills and processes.
- Strengthen the connectivity platform by reducing incidents and improving observability, monitoring, and alerting.
- Take ownership of complex projects, breaking them into actionable tasks and delivering them with limited hand-holding.
- Maintain high standards for code quality and testing across the codebase.
- Collaborate with product teams to align platform priorities and balance stability with new feature delivery.
- Support teammates through knowledge sharing and collaborative technical decision-making.
