Requirements
- Expertise in embedded Linux development (kernel, BSP, userspace).
- Proficiency in C and C++ programming.
- Deep understanding of wireless stacks, streaming protocols, and device drivers.
- Experience managing the full lifecycle of firmware shipping to field-deployed hardware.
- Hands-on experience with hardware bringup and system optimization (thermal/acoustics).
- Proven experience as a tech lead or staff engineer, or a manager with strong technical roots.
- Ability to balance hands-on architecture/development with team management responsibilities.
- Comfortable using AI tools for daily coding, debugging, and prototyping.
Responsibilities
- Manage the complete platform layer from bootloader to field-deployed firmware releases.
- Drive the implementation of AirPlay and Miracast protocols to stable production status.
- Improve and automate firmware release processes to ensure predictable, high-quality deployments.
- Direct the bringup and integration of new hardware, managing thermal, power, and connectivity performance.
- Lead the engineering team through 1:1s, technical reviews, and architectural guidance.
- Advance team productivity by integrating AI-assisted development tools and workflows.
