Requirements
- Experience as a Staff Engineer, Tech Lead, or hands-on Engineering Manager.
- Strong proficiency in Embedded Linux development (kernel, BSP, userspace).
- Deep expertise in C and C++ programming.
- Experience with wireless stacks, streaming protocols, and driver development.
- Proven experience with hardware bringup and turning bare silicon into a shipping product.
- Experience managing firmware releases to field devices, including staged rollouts and over-the-air (OTA) updates.
- Ability to reason about complex bugs across firmware, network, and silicon layers.
- Strong leadership capabilities including hiring and growing engineering talent.
Responsibilities
- Own the entire platform layer including operating system, firmware, and streaming stacks for all Airtame devices.
- Drive the transition of AirPlay and Miracast from beta to default production status.
- Automate and standardize firmware release processes to ensure reliability and predictability.
- Manage the hardware bringup process for new silicon, ensuring thermal and acoustic targets are met.
- Lead the team by setting technical direction, conducting code and architecture reviews, and mentoring engineers through 1:1s.
