Requirements
- Expert experience in C/C++ embedded development.
- Strong proficiency with Linux / Embedded Linux environments.
- Practical experience with embedded product security such as secure boot and signed firmware updates.
- Experience managing device identity and PKI integrations.
- Strong background in vulnerability management from triage to coordinated disclosure.
- Practical experience in firmware security testing including fuzzing and penetration testing.
- Experience in the IoT or industrial control security domain.
- Demonstrated ability to work with large, complex existing codebases.
- Advanced proficiency using AI tools as a daily development and analysis resource.
- Ability to create clear, professional technical documentation.
- Fluent English language skills for working in an international team.
Responsibilities
- Implement secure-by-design and secure-by-default approaches in firmware.
- Develop authentication, access control, and data encryption mechanisms for rest and transit.
- Implement secure firmware delivery processes including signing and authentication of updates.
- Build device identity management using PKI and integrate with commercial signing platforms.
- Implement SBOM in machine-readable formats and integrate tools into build processes.
- Develop vulnerability triage and remediation workflows for independent security patching.
- Utilize AI tools for analyzing large codebases, tracking data flows, and identifying risks.
- Create technical documentation required for regulatory compliance including architecture and risk assessment.
