Our Senior Browser Engineer position is a fantastic opportunity to work directly with our VP of Engineering and other browser engineers, maintaining and improving our Chromium-based browser. Our work has a high impact across all products, and you'll have the opportunity to fully specialize in Chromium development. 🔍 Software Development

  • It's a prerequisite that you have experience working with open source browser projects such as Webkit or Chromium.
  • Experience developing highly performant software in C or C++.
  • Understanding of web technologies such as Javascript and CSS.
  • Basic understanding of different operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux, Android).
  • Take development ownership of our virtual device application across Android, Windows and Linux arm / x86
  • Be responsible for exposing native capabilities through the development of new APIs for Javascript and exposing it to our frontend
  • Continuously maintain, update and improve our Chromium implementation
  • Be a close and active sparring partner to our VP of Engineering and peer browser engineers, as well as a key advisor to our frontend team in terms of future-proofed development
